Hi there! Happy 2013! I'm way overdue for a post especially since it's already February! The past couple months have been so busy and I had to take a small break from blogging to keep up. Things are still busy but I really miss blogging so I'm going to do my best to find time for it! To celebrate I even gave the blog a bit of a makeover to kick-start the year! I plan to make a few more changes but for now I'm pretty happy with the new look.
I also changed my tagline. Originally when I started this blog a couple years ago I wanted this to be a source of Disney info and news but there are so many great blogs like that out there that I decided to focus on making it mostly about my adventures and whatever Disney fun I feel like rambling about. It's sort of the direction the blog started to take a while back and I decided to go with it!
So what have I been up to? Although I haven't been writing about it, my husband and I have still been having lots of good times at the Disney parks!
We went to the Christmas parade taping a few months ago and had another nice weekend of spotting celebrities and watching the parade start and stop over and over as they filmed it. I spied on Mario Lopez for a little while (swoon!) and I also got to see the Backstreet Boys perform in front of the castle (swoon x 5!)! I got several great photos that I'll share in a future post but for now here's a sneak peek!

This year we also were able to spend our first New Year's Eve at the parks! It's the first time we had annual passes that weren't blocked out that day so we decided to take advantage. Disneyland was extremely crowded so we spent most of the evening wandering around California Adventure. We left about an hour before midnight so we could count down to 2013 in our warm apartment but it was a great night!

I like the new look, great job! I'm also glad that you started blogging again. :) I can't wait to read all about your adventures (and hopefully join in on some of the adventures this year too! :)) Mario tapes really close to us so I've seen him a couple of times in person. He's a freak of nature with those good looks. lol Happy upcoming WDW trip! (take me with you!) :D

I'm jealous you get to see Mario more often, hehehe! :) He looks a lot like he did in Saved by the Bell! As for WDW- perhaps you can fit in my suitcase? ;)

DeleteYay, I love the new look! I want to spend NYE at Disney sometime but hotels are so expensive! You are lucky you live so close. Have fun at WDW!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mindy! We aren't sure if we'll live as close to the parks next year so it was nice to get to go at least once! I wish the hotels weren't so expensive...I think it'd be awesome to stay on property for New Years one day! :)
