Summer Nightastic and Ticket Deal for So. Cal Residents!

I went back to Disneyland the other day after being gone for a week and I decided that before I start writing about Disney World, I really need to do some updates on Disneyland!  It's surprising how much can change in just one week!  Plus June 11th is a big day at California Adventure and it's less than a week away!  So let's get started!
One of the changes I noticed when I got to the Disneyland Resort were the new banners for Summer Nightastic which is one of the several things that start on June 11th!

Summer Nightastic is from June 11th- August 29th and refers to the attractions and entertainment the parks have during the summer. 
This year's Summer Nightastic includes the firework spectaculars, "Magical," and  Fantasmic! at Disneyland as well as their brand new show, World of Color, at California Adventure.  Magical and Fantasmic! have already begun showing at Disneyland and World of Color will begin on June 11th.
For Summer Nightastic, Disneyland Resort offers a great deal for Southern California residents where they can buy a Summer Pass which allows them to go to either park for 3 days for $108 ($36 a day).  For only a little bit more, you can get the Summer Pass Plus which allows you to park hop on those 3 days.  This pass is $129 and I would recommend getting the the Pass Plus because it gives you the option of going to the other park if one gets busy. After purchasing the tickets, you must use the first day between June 11-Aug. 29 and then use the next two days within 45 days after the first use.  It could be a great treat for kids at home on summer break!
